Wild Forest Raw Honey is a polyfloral, unfiltered raw honey collected from the untouched forests of Uttarakhand at altitudes of 1,200-2,400m. Unlike commercial honey, our bees forage across hundreds of wild flowering species - sal, sheesham, eucalyptus, wild mint, jamun blossom, and dozens more - producing a rich, complex flavour you won't find in single-origin or processed honey.

Why Wild Forest Honey is Different

Also known as Himalayan Forest Honey, Himalayan Wild Honey, or Pahadi Multi-Floral Honey - this is the same multi-origin raw honey, harvested by hand from Uttarakhand's untouched forests at 1,200-2,400m elevation.

  • Multi-floral nectar source - the bees decide; we don't restrict them. Each batch has subtly different character.
  • Cold-extracted - never heated above 40°C, preserving enzymes, pollen, and antioxidants.
  • Unfiltered - we only strain out wax and bee parts. The natural cloudiness is pure pollen and propolis.
  • Lab-tested every batch - moisture <19%, HMF <40, zero added sugar.
  • Direct from Pahadi beekeepers - no middlemen. Fair price to the source.

How to Use Wild Forest Honey

1-2 teaspoons on an empty stomach with warm (not hot) water and lemon - traditional Ayurvedic morning routine for digestion and immunity. Stir into curd, oatmeal, smoothies, or evening chamomile tea. Use as a topical wound dressing for minor cuts (raw honey is antibacterial). Never heat above 40°C - this destroys its medicinal properties.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes Wild Forest Raw Honey different from regular honey?

Wild Forest Honey is multi-floral - bees collect nectar from a wide variety of flowers across Uttarakhand's untouched valleys, giving it a complex aroma and balanced sweetness. It's raw (never heated above 40°C), unfiltered, and contains natural pollen, enzymes, and antioxidants destroyed by commercial pasteurisation.

Is Wild Forest Honey suitable for daily use?

Yes. One to two teaspoons (5-10g) daily on an empty stomach with warm water and lemon supports digestion, immunity, and steady energy. Children above 1 year can have a quarter teaspoon. Avoid heating it above 40°C - heating denatures its enzymes.

How is purity tested?

Every batch is lab-tested for moisture (<19%), HMF (<40mg/kg), and zero sugar adulteration. We share lab reports with anyone who asks. Crystallisation in winter is a sign of pure honey - not a defect. Warm the jar in lukewarm water to liquefy.

Where does Wild Forest Honey come from?

From beekeepers in Pauri, Tehri, and Chamoli districts of Uttarakhand, at altitudes of 1,200-2,400m. The forests are free from agricultural pesticide spray, giving the honey its rare polyfloral character.

What's the shelf life?

Wild Forest Honey has an indefinite shelf life when stored in a cool dry place away from sunlight. Use a dry spoon - moisture is the only enemy. Crystallisation is reversible and natural.
